Eye Disease Co-Management

The concept of Co-Management involves sharing the care of medical diagnosis and treatment between different health-care practitioners. This becomes necessary when it becomes evident that different fields of expertise are necessary to offer the patient the highest level of care. There are certain ocular or systemic conditions which require Co-Management with another practitioner such as your General Practitioner, an Ophthalmologist, Endocrinologist, or Rheumatologist.

Most commonly here at Prime Vision-Care Centres, we Co-Manage with Ophthalmologists, as our two fields cross over directly, both being involved in examination and treatment of the eyes and vision. Common conditions which are regularly Co-Managed include Glaucoma, Diabetes, Cataracts, and Excimer Laser Surgery. We are happy to work with other health-care practitioners to provide you with the best possible general health and Vision-Care.

If you are in any way concerned about any of the conditions listed above please do not hesitate to come in and see us for an appointment here at
